The quantitative estimation of the mass fraction of crude protein, crude fiber, crude fat and moisture in legume seeds, soybeans and the products of their processing (feedstuff, compound animal feedstuff and compound feed raw materials of legumes). Measurements are carried out using the express method of near-infrared spectroscopy (NIR) using the NIR analyzer “InfraLUM FT-12” by way of scanning the sample with radiation in the near infrared region. Use of the device with installed calibration models significantly reduces the analysis time compared to other methods (e.g. “wet chemistry”) and provides the fast and effective quality assessment of seeds and feedstuffs.
The IR analyzer allows measuring a sample of a sufficiently large volume to eliminate the heterogeneity effect of the chemical composition or physical properties of the analyzed sample. Measurement of parameters in beans is carried out without the grinding stage during sample preparation making it possible to avoid the influence of the grinding factor on the uncertainty of measurements. The study is carried out at the accredited testing laboratory for compliance with the requirements of GOST ISO/IEC 17025/2019 (Supplement 1 of June 09, 2023 to the scope of accreditation of April 22, 2022 to the Accreditation Certificate No. BY /112 1/1599 of December 7, 2009).
