The Department was established in 2005.

Main directions of activity:

• Organizing and holding international and national conferences, workshops;
• Organizing and taking part in national and international exhibitions;
• Promoting the Institute’s scientific and technical developments on international high-tech markets;
• Enhancing the efficiency of Institute’s activities in implementing the priority areas of scientific and technical activity of a direct national economic impact;
• Preparing the collections of scientific papers, conference materials and catalogues for publication;
• Providing scientific, technical and reference information to structural subdivisions;
• Carrying out patent-licensing and inventive work;
• Exercising timely standard control of the preparation and submission of materials for the state registration of research and development  (R&D) activities with the State Institution “Institute of System Analysis and Information Support of Scientific and Technical Sphere”; and providing consulting and methodological assistance to the Institute’s employees in filling in registration and information cards, preparing of reports on completed R&D and submitting reports to the State Institution “Institute of System Analysis and Information Support of Scientific and Technical Sphere”;
• Technical support of the state registration and maintenance of an electronic database of completed R&D;
• Maintaining an intellectual property register;
• Ensuring the functioning of the quality management system at the Institute.
