Key directions of scientific research:

  • Studying genetic mechanisms of a predisposition to multifactorial diseases; determining individual sensitivity or resistance to drugs; identifying risk groups among the population for the preventive care or an early diagnosis of pathologies;
  • Identifying informative genetic markers of high sporting achievements, professional pathology in sports, eating behavior to enhance the efficiency of athletes’ training and improve their medical and biological support;
  • Investigating the genetic component of the psycho-emotional status and cognitive abilities of a person; studying the effect of stress resistance genes on adaptation to extreme physical and emotional loads;
  • Introducing developed techniques and technologies to provide services in genetic testing to the population at the Republican Center for Genomic Biotechnology.
