Using a specialized computer program, scientists have determined the most significant complexes of unfavorable gene variants associated with each of the four nosologies of cardiovascular diseases. When calculating the risk of a certain pathology, the contribution of both individual genes and risk gene complexes was considered, and we determined how many times the risk of each of the above nosologies is increased (in the case of its increase) in a person under study. Genetic risk may or may not manifest itself depending on lifestyle. Provoking factors include smoking, a sedentary lifestyle, excess weight and severe stress.
