Laboratory of Human Genetics

Head: Irma B. Mosse

Doctor of Biological Sciences, professor

Key directions of scientific research:

  • DNA-testing for genetic predisposition to multifactorial diseases and habitual noncarrying of pregnancy; the identification of risk groups among the population for the prophylaxis or early diagnosis of the pathology; the determination of individual drug sensitivity or drug resistance;
  • DNA-testing for the identification of human abilities contributing to the achievement of high sporting results;
  • analysis of the genetic component of the psychoemotional characteristic of a human; the examination of the influence of stress resistance genes on the stress adaptation of people of extreme professions to physical and emotional exertion.
